Sliding Scale Pricing for 1-on-1 Coaching with Andrew Horn

I believe that transformative coaching should be accessible to people at different stages of their financial journey.

This sliding scale pricing model allows me to work with a diverse range of clients while maintaining the sustainability of my practice.

Suggested Rate Calculator

My suggested rate for sliding scale clients is based on two key dimensions:

  1. What you are paid for a day of work - this offers a simple heuristic that indicates your level of access to financial resources and the complexity of your work.

  2. Who is paying for coaching - you, someone else (e.g. the company you work for), or a hybrid.

Here's what I suggest:

Monthly Retainer = Your Day Rate (x2 if your company is paying)

Examples:

Compensation Day Rate Who's paying? Suggested Monthly Retainer
$250k/yr annual salary $1,087/day Company (x2) $2,174/mo
$200/hr contract rate $1,600/day Individual (x1) $1,600/mo
$120k/yr annual salary $522/day Individual (x1) $522/mo
$75/hr contract rate $600/day Individual (x1) $600/mo

*assumes 230 working days/yr

**assumes day rate = 8 hours

Special Considerations:

  • Growing startups: I'm open to discussing a mix of cash and equity that makes sense

  • Fellow coaches: Please consider offering ≥ your average client rate

  • Non-profit/public service: Let's discuss rates that work for your situation

Retainer Structure

Monthly retainer model provides consistent support and allows for deeper, more sustainable transformation compared to single-session approaches.

Commitment to Quality

Regardless of which tier you choose, you receive the same level of commitment, attention, and care.

My goal is your success, and the quality of our work together never changes based on the rate you select.

My Promise to You

I'm committed to creating a judgment-free space where your financial situation never affects the quality of coaching you receive. This sliding scale model allows me to serve a broader community while ensuring everyone gets the support they deserve.
